The Information Systems (including but not limited to computers, computer accounts, microcomputers, printers, networks, software, electronic mail, video systems, telephones, telephone long distance accounts, voicemail accounts, and Internet Access) at AMERIGROUP and AMERIGROUP companies are provided for the use of AMERIGROUP associates, consultants, temporary employees and others, as approved, in support of the AMERIGROUP business plan. All associates, consultants, temporary employees and approved others are responsible for seeing that these Information Systems are used as a privilege, not a right, which may be revoked at any time for misuse. For site security purposes, and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, this computer system employs software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, and to monitor for compliance with the AMERIGROUP Acceptable Use Policy. Unauthorized attempts to upload information or to change information on this service are strictly prohibited and may be punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act. Violations of procedures or rules for Information Systems usage will result in appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including written reprimand, suspension without pay, and possible termination.
